THAT WIND THE WINTER BLOW (REVIEW)

Annyeong Haseyo and peace be upon to yeorobundeul.. As usual, I am here to share my review on the posted title k-drama. This time, I watched a sad drama yet it has a happy ending. Before I proceed to my review, let us get familiar with the casts and synopsis of this drama. The main leads are someone who I really love their act. This story is about a blind girl (Oh Young/ Song Hye Kyo) has been trapped by a guy (Oh Soo) who she believed to be her biological brother. This is because her real brother had a same name with the guy. She was parted with her mother and brother since she was 6 years old. Since then, she lived with her father and her assistant (Secretary Wang). The cause of her blindness was due to the negligence of Secretary Wang to treat her eyes from R.P immediately thus lead to the brain tumor. The fate between Oh Young and Oh Soo happened when Oh Young went to the address in the letter mentioned by her brother and actually that where the guy Oh Soo live. She was hoping to meet with her brother but unfortunate events happened where both her brother and father died on the same day. However, she didn't know about the death of her real brother. After her father cremation, her family lawyer (Attorney Jang) went to find her brother at his place. Before that, the guy Oh Soo was jailed by his scandal for a year and involved in a huge debt (7.8 million) with the gangsters (Jo Moo Chul and Kim). By the time Attorney Jang reached to the brother's place, the guy Oh Soo was there with a blood and met with Attorney Jang. Somehow, Attorney Jang succeeds in bringing the guy Oh Soo into Oh Young's place thinking that the guy is the real brother. Meanwhile, the guy Oh Soo intended to get 7.8 million from Oh Young.  Afterward, lots of events, memories, lies, truths happened between them. However, the events will slowly change the guy Oh Soo's attitudes and character towards his trash life and the guy Oh Soo also actually change Oh Young's perception about blind people such as to receive helps from other people. After all, this drama ended with a good ending with the success of Oh Young's brain surgery, the guy Oh Soo's bright life.

Arang and the Magistrate (Arang Satto Jeon) Review

Annyeonghaseyo and peace be upon yeorobundeul~~ I'm back with another drama which I never imagined to watch it. This drama is actually released back in 2012 with the concept of historical drama and frankly speaking, I'm not a fan of historical-typed of drama. However, this drama has opened my heart and eyes to watch another historical drama. Let me introduce a lil' bit of this drama. As you can see the title, the main characters in the drama were Arang or Lee Suh Rim (Shin Min Ah) and the Kim Satto or Kim Eun Oh (Lee Jun Gi) where their fate are being connected by the Jade Emperor (Yoo Seung Ho). Earlier, Arang who was a ghost has been revived into a human in order for her to find out the truth behind of her death. Meanwhile, Kim Eun Ho who can see ghosts met Arang in an old house on his way to Miryang to find his mother. Somehow, Arang knew that Satto can see her and made him as Satto in order for him to help her to find out who killed her. At first, Satto seem reluctant to help Arang, but his intention changed when he saw her mother's hairpin (Mo Shim Ja) on Arang's hair. He thought by helping Arang it will lead him to his mother and yes indeed. Therefore, they promised to help each other. Through lots of accidents and events, eventually, Satto fell in love with Arang and yes his character also was changed after he met with Arang from someone who was never concerned for others to someone who willing to help even when the ghosts approached him. Unfortunately, the biggest enemy of this drama was Satto's mother who was being possessed by Moo Yeong (Han Jung Soo)'s sister, Moo Yeon and actually the person responsible for Arang's death was Arang herself. However, since they already opened their heart to each other and stay together, Satto successfully made a deal with The Jade Emperor to let Arang live and not taking her memories by sacrificing himself to replace Arang but lucky enough, The Jade Emperor let both of them to live and stay together as human on the earth. So, at the end, they still live happily ever after. Other casts would be as below:
- Young Master, the one who killed the girls for Moo Yeon, killed Arang for the 2nd time (Yeon Woo Jin)
- Dol Sae, Satto's slave, and Bang Gool's Namchin - (Kwon Oh-Joong)
- Bang Ui Ri or Bang Gool, the shaman who at first couldn't see ghost but helped Satto and Arang a lot in a mystic way - (Hwang Bo Ra)
- Lord Choi, a person who was very annoying and trying to sack Arang and Satto and the whole Miryang - (Kim Yeon Geon)

In my opinion, maybe because I like to watch horror and scary kind of stories, so I really like this drama. Even they used a historical concept but the storyline was great. Historical only applicable to the culture, environment, language and costume but the storyline is the main dish for every drama. Another reason for me to watch this drama was, of course, the casts. I never know Lee Jun Gi is a playful type of actor at outside the scene. He is fun and outgoing type of guy and I admired him~~ As for Shin Min Ah, She is also one of my favorite actresses since Gumiho I guess. Overall, I really like the storyline of this drama.

Before I end up my synopsis and review, I got a chance to re-captured the monolog from Arang and Satto. Here we go~~
Arang's monolog:
Where a flower fell, another flower will bloom again and
where the wind blew, another wind will come too
But, I'm going to hold on that first feeling forever,
If I go to the heaven, I will forget about you and,
If I go to hell, you will forget about me,
So anywhere, we would not recognize each other but still....

Continued by Satto's monolog:
With these feelings, I'm going to find you,
If you see a guy on a street who stops suddenly while brushing by,
When he sees you, when the tears well up, when the heart beats again then,
Please recognize it's me... Arang, Saranghanda~~~

See you guys in another drama. Until then, geonganghaseyo and haengbokhaeyo~~ annyeong ^_*

Twenty Again (Du Beonjjae Sumusal) Review

Peace be upon and annyeonghaseyo yeorobundeul~~~ I just finished watching this beautiful drama about how to live well at your 20's. First, let me introduce the casts for this drama:

~ Choi Ji Woo as Ha No Ra
~ Lee Sang Yoon as Cha Hyun Suk
~ Choi Won Young as Kim Woo Chul/ Husband of Ha No Ra
~ Kim Min Jae as Kim Min Soo/ Ha No Ra and Kim Woo Chul son
~ Son Na Eun (APink) as Oh Hye Mi
~ Jung Soo Young as Ra Yoon Young/ Ha No Ra Bestfriend
~ Choi Yoon So as Shin Sang Ye/ Cha Hyun Suk Assistant
~ Park Hyo Joo as Kim Yi Jin/Kim Woo Chul

Next I will share what this drama about and after that as usual my review. This drama is about a girl named Ha No Ra who dreamt as a dancer during her elementary school had to let go off her dream and her teenager's life when she was pregnant and got married to a guy named Kim Woo Chul. At that time, Kim Woo Chul has to go to Germany to continue his study in Psychology and so he brought Ha No Ra together. Before that, No Ra was a cheerful, diligent and talented person, she has a grandmother and the have a tteokbokki small restaurant. This drama slowly revealed the memories of No Ra before she got married. Moreover, she has a good friend named Yoon Young, Dong Chul and Hyun Suk. The conflicts began after 20 years when his husband decided to divorce her due to unable to communicate well with her. But actually that was only excuses for him to cheated on her and secretly dating Kim Yi Jin. Their marriage life had totally change her character from someone who cheerful to someone who talk slow, always keep her feelings inside and always look sad. Beside that, she's getting more emotional when she was falsely diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and she has been told to have only 6 months left. Therefore, she got scared when she has to divorce with her husband and separate with her son. So she plans to have a wishlist before she die and she was planning to tell her son after 3 months. One of her wishes is to study in the college and got in into Woo Cheon University. Unfortunately, she has to be in a same uni with her son and husband and at that time, she finally met Hyun Suk after 20 years. It seems that Hyun Suk was so angrily mad at her because she left Korea without saying anything to him, and leaving her gandmother behind alone. Even when her grandma died, she didn't come and pay a last respect. But actually the reason behind why she didn't come was more sad. However, slowly Hyun Suk and No Ra's character change back to what they used to be when they were together and accomplished No Ra's bucket list. No Ra also slowly change herself when she finally realized what she used to be and how she was once loved before. No Ra's faced lots of hardships when she started her study especially when she has been outcasted by her classmates. But finally good days slowly approached her when she did lots of good deeds to her friends and they finally realized that too. At last, before No Ra agreed to divorce with her husband, he received whatever he deserves to, such as two nice slaps from No Ra for the reason of lying her about the ticket to go back to korea. Finally, No Ra and Hyun Suk start their relationship for a good after getting into too many scenes and conflicts. That is the ending and simple summary of this drama.
I always like to give review for each of the drama I watched in order to encourage the viewers to go and experience this drama by themselves. So for this drama, I seriously recommend to go and watch because I feel that this drama have taught us about life a lots. As we know that, 20 years old is a peak age of our life where we are in the category of TEENAGER. It is truly wasted if we didn't spend well like what happened to Ha No Ra's life. One reason for me to watch this drama at a first place is because of Choi Ji Woo. I'm always her biggest fan eversince Winter Sonata, Stairway in Heaven, Strange Housekeeper and more. Besides that, I like Lee Sang Yoon for his dimples, charms and of course his acting itself eversince Take Care of Us Captain and Angel Eyes. But what made me fell in love with this drama is the storyline. It will be very pathetic if someone has never spent their teenager's life properly leaving behind none of the memories to be brought to the future. This drama has made me think about whether I have lived well when I was 20 years old because I also was a dancer during the olden days. So as a conclusion, this drama is worth to watch, even worth to smile and shed tears together with Ha No Ra, laughed with Hyun Suk and got angry with Kim Woo Chul. I guess that is all for now. I will be back with another drama next time. Until then, take care and annyeonghaseyo~~~

Ex-Girlfriends Club (Review)

Annyeonghaseyo yeorobundeul and peace be upon to all of u. I'm here again with my k-drama review and this time would be "Ex-Yeochindeul Club". I watched this because I'm Mongji's fan and I love all her dramas so far. Let me introduce a lil' bit about this drama. In this drama, she acted as a producer of a small company but she actually was quite a known producer. However, the main actor is actually had three ex-girlfriends where they will entangle with Soo Jin (Mongji)'s life. The guy (Myeong Soo) was already known her for 5 years and both of them met on a rainy day where Myeong Soo stopped Soo Jin's car asking for a ride. For Soo Jin, that was her love at a first sight for Myeong Soo. Before this, they were actually lost contact with each other due to career and perhaps that was the time when Myeong Soo dated the three ladies which later on he illustrated in his 'Manhwa' or manga or comic. The three ladies are Na Ji Ah (1st GF or Cat), Hwa Yeong (2nd gf or Tigress), and Geun Ryeong (3rd gf or Fox). As usual, there will be a second male lead known as Jo Geon Director. Soo Jin has to undergo lots of challenge and obstacles in order to produce Myeong Soo's comic into a film where she had to fight with the three ladies, went bankrupt when her boss owed money and involved in Myeong Soo's problem with his ex-gfs. So, here comes my review about this drama. In my opinion, 12 episodes sure would be enough so that it won't be too boring. I can't say this drama was dull but to prolong it won't be a good choice. One thing I want to compliment this drama is when Myeong Soo and Soo Jin acted as a couple where they expressed their feeling in a natural way. Not too cheesy and not too awkward. But as usual, I always feel pity for the 2nd lead male where they have to accept the fact that the won't be loved by the girl. Actually, Jo Geon director was a cool guy and quite handsome. It's just his style was a bit funny and his posture was like Kwang Soo..hahaha...But pardon me, I still like him anyway. Meanwhile, for the three ladies, I don't really have comments on them. I can't say I don't like the way they treated Soo Jin because it was their role after all. So I guess that is the only thing I can comment for this drama. Indeed, this drama had its own sweetness in a unique way...that's all my review for this time and looking forward to the next drama... until then take care and annyeonghaseyo~~~

Master's Sun

Greetings everyone and peace be upon~~This time I introduce u guys with rocorror k-drama "Master's Sun". Even though this drama had been released back in 2013, to me it still a fresh concept. I couldn't watch this at ONE due to studying time yet I already downloaded and it stays in my hard disk way too long. However, this drama had captured me with the story line where a girl named Tae Gong Shil or Taeyang (Gong Hyo Jin) can see ghosts. To be honest, all the ghosts looked scary though. Just Imagine if you can see ghosts and u have to live with the talent forever. Luckily, this chaebol guy or Kingdom CEO, Joo Joong Won (So Ji Sub) is the saviour for Taeyang where he helps her to chase away the ghosts when Taeyang can't really handle the situations. Eventually, the CEO fell in love with Taeyang after so many ghost scenes and so many touches supplied to Taeyang thinking that he couldn't anything without Taeyang and so do Taeyang. Besides that, after his meeting with Taeyang, slowly his character changed. Oh I forgot to tell that the CEO had a scary moment in his life, during his childhood, he had been kidnapped and the culprit was his lover, Cha Hee Joo and after that, he couldn't read hangul anymore. To stir up Joong Won and Taeyang relationship, Kang Woo (Seo In Guk) and Tae Ri Ryong (Kim Yoo Ri) came to their life but actually they both fall in love at last. The saddest scene in this drama was when Joong Won injured because he covers himself to save Taeyang's life, and during his hospitalization, Taeyang could see his soul came to her and say "saranghae". After she sacrificed her memories with the CEO, that even saddest. Luckily, maybe the power love makes Taeyang are not easily forgotten by the CEO. Ah! back to Hee Joo's case, actually the one who died is Han na, Hee Joo's twin sisters and Hee Joo is a culprit. Thanks to Taeyang. I guess I had given the best review for those who haven't watch it. There are so many lovely and cute scenes especially when Joong Won tried to act cool. I'll stop until here, till we meet in next review. Last but not least, tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan, happy fasting everyone~

P/S: I have downloaded the OSTs as well. I am so in love with the OSTs and I have watched the making and behind the scene. Man, Gong Hyo Jin is such a happy go lucky girl. She can laugh all day long. It was funny though.

Descendants of the Sun

Peace be upon to all...yeah, as the title above..the highest rating drama of the year! I am one of the hardcore fans of this drama. How to describe this drama? they aren't like extravaganza drama, but I guess this is the first time they used the concept of the story where it involves medical field and armies. This drama was about a soldier, Captain Yoo Si Jin,  who really loves his country and would do anything, including sacrifice himself if it could save Korea. One day, he fell in love with a doctor, Dr. Kang Mo Yeon, who busy struggling for a better life with her profession and to her, saving the patient's life was a part of being a doctor. At first, their love didn't develop much due to the obstacles between their profession which limits their relationship. Not until Dr. Kang is kicked to the Uruk by the CEO of the hospital for volunteering works. They have met an eye to eye when Captain Yoo and the Alpha team are the peoples whom escorted the medical team to the base camp. Then, I would say every day is a brand new day for them with more and more interesting moments. Finally, the journey in Uruk has changed Dr. Kang's perception of her profession as a doctor and she has done a very good job as what she vowed when she was a medical student through the heartbreaking earthquake scenes in Uruk. She slowly began to accept Captain Yoo love through the journey she went through with him. From the moments of saving the Arab President's life, the earthquake tragedy, almost died from an accident, trying to save Fatima, until to the nerve-wracking fight with Argus (Captain Yoo's best friend once upon a time). I thought when they returned to Korea, they would have a normal life. However, it's getting more and more tense where Captain Yoo is having more responsible in protecting the country. Until all of us heard a shock news about the death of Big Boss and his comrade, Wolf. Well, that's the climax of this drama so we as viewers will treasure the hero. Another couple plays important roles in this drama was Sergeant Seo and Dr Myeong Ju couple. They played as a cool couple with the obstacles from Myeong Ju 's father, the Head of the Army. Not forgotten the great other characters which colored this drama. Here is the list of the casts :

- Captain Yoo Si Jin (Big Boss) - Song Joong Ki
- Dr. Kang Mo Yeon - Song Hye Kyo
- Sergeant Major Seo Dae Young (Wolf) - Jin Goo
- Dr. Yoon Myeong Ju - Kim Ji Won
- General Yoon (Myeong Ju's Father) - Kang Shin Il
- The Alpha team members; - Snoopy - Park Hoon, Choi Woong, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kim Min Suk
- The Medical team members: - Dr. Song, Sister Ja Ae, Dr. Chi Hoon, Nurse Min Ji, Dr. Ji Soo
- Daniel - Cho Tae Kwan
- Ye Hwa - Jeon Soo Jin
- Argus - David McInnis
- Cameo: - Lee Kwang Soo, Yoo Ah In, Lee Jong Hyuk

My overall review is, I would agree if this drama became a hit and high rating's drama. This drama gave me full satisfaction with additional of 3 special episodes. I would cherish the Song-Song couple, but I don't hope they will be a real couple ^_^. The review has come to an end and till we meet again in the next drama review. Annyeong haseyo yeorobundeul.
